There is much rejoicing in my household. I've just had the band listing for the Fresh Festival in Liverpool in January and my favourite jazz singer, Tom Lang, is performing.  After missing him at Liverpool Music week last November I just can't wait ( Read more... )

The sudden realisation that the Tom Lang concert is this Friday, not the 10th of December like I'd originally thought, has turned the dance of joy into the stomp of despair as there's no way I can get the time off work at this late stage.
